Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on 8 August 1976. She was oldest of four children. At a young age, her dental doctor parents as well as her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. It was this love that trumps her first desire to become a primatologist. At the age of a young lady, her rise to stardom was rapid and marked with the beginning of her success. After completing her studies She was a part of the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Most Outstanding Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her acting career. Tautou was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and was a student there from young age, has disavowed her Catholic upbringing. The actress claims to be a non-Catholic. In addition to acting, she has also been a model and the spokesperson in the advertising campaign for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. She is a keen photographer and created a show in The Arles International Festival titled Superficial. Her photographs is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera is turned on journalists who examined her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major performance in Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie achieved international success on the screen and also won numerous awards across the globe. It is the most successful French language film to date in the US. Following the film, she appeared in many films that ranged from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
