April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) started her musical journey in the 7th grade when she started piano and guitar classes. When she was in seventh grade April started taking guitar and piano classes. The lessons sparked her passion in songwriting. When she was 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing and honed her music ability. Over the next few months, she began taking writing trips together with her dad in LA in addition to NY. April included other subjects in her hit song"Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled issues like peer pressure, disabilities or even teen suicidal thinking. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle influencer as well as being a partner with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia she has gained her own following. Her birthplace didn't come having a left-handed hand, which is the reason she's what she is. However, that's not the whole story. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not ignore her status as disabled however, it doesn't concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. What message is it sending? We are all more than just our physical self. Our identities are complicated and encompass a variety of aspects. Lockhart has stated on video that she doesn't wish to be defined by her handicap. She doesn't wish to become a disability advocate who only talks about disability. There are a lot of aspects of Lockhart. My everyday life isn't directly affected by disability. I go about my regular, everyday life and find my own solutions to problems. This is a major part of my life, and it's imperative that we talk about it. Lockhart is a true source of motivation for self-acceptance generally and is currently on a lengthy process to attain this. Still, she acknowledges going through periods of feeling insecure about her body, and also feeling uncomfortable in certain clothes which exposed her arms. She is able to wear anything she'd like, and is proud to share photos of herself in these outfits. The journey itself is what I don't know that will ever be the end about self-love. It's the same for everybody regardless of their insecurity. People you associate yourself with, who know you and see into your heart are the best people who can remind you of the things you're worried about.
